To purchase alcoholic beverages, a patron must present a valid US driver’s license, Passport, US liquor ID, or Military ID, which indicates the patron to be at least 21 years of age. (Duplicate licenses, expired licenses, damaged licenses and/or identifications will not be accepted.) Any guest in the possession of alcoholic beverages on premises may be requested to produce identification, which must satisfy the foregoing requirements. No refunds will be offered for confiscated beverages. Any guest who presents false identification or who passes alcohol to a minor may be subject to ejection. We will not serve more than two alcoholic beverages to a patron at one time, and we reserve the right to limit service to one drink per guest. Our alcohol service will end at least one hour prior to the scheduled end of the event. We reserve the right to discontinue the sale of alcohol at any time. We will not serve any guest whom we believe to be intoxicated.

Bag and purse policies are subject to change based on the event. Please check the event specific prohibited/permitted item policy and plan accordingly.

Racks for bicycles are located at various locations throughout the Mesa Convention Center.

The Mesa Convention Center makes every effort to accommodate commercial, non-commercial and amateur photography/videography requests. Cell phone cameras, small tablets, or small point & shoot cameras, mono/tripods and selfie sticks are permitted. All non-commercial filming and requests, for commercial shoots, news stories, etc., are required to contact the department’s Sales and Marketing Team at 480-644-2178, for authorization. The Mesa Convention Center and the City of Mesa do not sign location releases.

Mesa Convention Center policy prohibits firearms and weapons in all venues, except by on duty law enforcement officers with jurisdiction. Possession of firearms is unlawful under Arizona Revised Statutes 4-244, 4-229 and 13-3102. Mesa Convention Center provides a location to temporarily store a firearm in each building. Persons who refuse to leave and/or secure their weapon are trespassing and can be cited or arrested for 13-1502A1 (C3M) or 13-1503A (C2M), depending on the venue (peace officers are excepted).

Guests having a medical emergency should call 9-1-1 and then notify building personnel for further assistance. Our team will assist emergency medical personnel with building access and logistics.

The distribution of these materials or similar materials is strictly prohibited in all locations at the Mesa Convention Center.

Food and Beverage service for all Mesa Convention Center events is provided by the exclusive food and beverage partner, Personal Touch Catering. Apart from single use bottled water, outside food and beverage is strictly prohibited. There are several locations to purchase food and beverages throughout the Convention Center including exhibit hall concessions when available, and vending machines. In addition to the concession options, each Building offer easy-to-use drinking water refill stations.

The Mesa Convention Center prohibits the use of Hoverboards, Roller Blades, Skates and Skateboards on our campus and in all buildings including the Grand Plaza and parking lots.

Patrons needing additional information about the Mesa Convention Center and the surrounding area may visit the administrative office inside Building A.

The METRO Light Rail is an easy and convenient way to travel to and from the Mesa Convention Center. The Convention Center is served by the Main Street and Center Street Light Rail Stations.

The Mesa Convention Center assumes no responsibility for any lost or misplaced items. MCC provides an official lost and found location located in the Mesa Convention Center Administrative Office inside Building A. Contact us at 480-644-2178 to inquire about lost or misplaced items.

Parents seeking lost children may go to uniformed event staff for assistance.

There is no designated parking area for motorcycles at the Mesa Convention Center.

The Mesa Convention Center will offer reasonable accommodations for nursing mothers. Please see a building representative for assistance.

Complimentary self-parking is available to all convention center visitors on a first-come, first-served basis for convention center events. The Mesa Convention Center parking is subject to availability.

A dedicated pick-up and drop-off zone for popular ride sharing services such as Uber and Lyft is located in front of Building C.

The ride share zone may be temporarily relocated due to event activity.

Our preferred event security partner will provide you and your guests with a safe and comfortable environment.  

Per Arizona Revised Statutes 11-1024, Service animals for guests with disabilities are permitted. All other animals, including emotional support animals, are prohibited. Unless approval by management has been made, on a per event basis.

In accordance with the Smoke Free Arizona Act, ARS 36.601.01, smoking and vaping (including use of all types of electronic cigarettes) are prohibited inside of all Mesa Convention Center facilities including, patios, interior docks, stairwells and restrooms. Cannabis products, edible and non-edible, may not be sold or distributed at the Mesa Convention Center regardless of the THC concentration of the products.

No collections or donations, whether for charity or otherwise, shall be made, attempted, or announced on any Mesa Convention Center premises without the prior written approval of Mesa Convention Center management.

Our facility has recycling containers located throughout the venues for guests to place recyclable materials in the appropriate bins as marked.
